The Paper Tigers
The festival showcases the best of Asian cinema all across Canada and the rest of the world. And on August 24, you can catch one of the films featured at the festival, The Paper Tigers. Museum of Illusions
Find your reality altered at this museum with its optical illusions and holograms. There are different themed rooms, each showcasing a different type of illusion and visual trick. They’re open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and tickets can be purchased online here.
Tequila and Turntable Tuesday
Head to stackt market for an afternoon of cocktails, music and good vibes. The event takes place on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. and offers an epic party experience. Along with cocktails, visitors can also have a selection of tasty bites and treats.
Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit
Soak in the works of Vincent Van Gogh like never before at this immersive and interactive exhibition. It features many of his masterpieces, highlighted through projections, video frames and unique lighting. Located at 1 Yonge St, more details including ticket purchases can be found online.
Candyland at Bayview Village
In partnership with New York candy lifestyle brand, by robynblair, the popular shopping centre is home to Candyland. The Instagrammable pop-up comes with an eight-foot gumball walk-in photo-op, a rainbow road of candy boxes, along with art prints and so much more. The best part? Visitors can check out this pop-up for free.
