Happy Monday, Toronto! With only three weeks of summer officially left to go, it’s time to soak in the remainder of the warm days. The good news is that as the end of summer approaches, the number of exciting events and festivals is on the rise. It’s certainly going to feel weird yet again without attending the CNE this time of the year. But not to worry, we’ve got you covered on the cool things to do in Toronto this week (August 30 – September 5).
Here are some of the things to do in Toronto this week:
Labour of Love
Steve Aioki fans, get ready! The performer is headlining an event at CityView Drive-In on September 5, 2021. Along with Aioki, the Labour of Love event also features other artists including Nightmre, Cheyenne Giles and others. Please note that this concert is a standing one and vehicles aren’t permitted. The doors open at 3:30 pm and tickets can be purchased on the website here.
We don’t know about you but being able to attend concerts after all this time, is definitely exciting. Especially if it means taking a trip down memory lane with Maroon 5 classics. The band will be performing at Budweiser Stage on September 2, 2021 at 7 pm. For ticket purchases and details, you can check it out online.
Le Burger Week
It’s going to be raining unique and crazy burgers this time with two weeks of Le Burger Week! Each participating restaurant will serve up a special creation just for the event. The ones in Toronto include Gusto 101, Rudy, Fish and Chips Republik, Miss Thing’s and many more. The event runs from September 1 – 14, 2021 and more details can be found here.
Seeing as we can’t physically go to the CNE this year, they have decided to go virtual with CNE Connected. The virtual programming features a selection of free and paid virtual content. This includes online concerts, interactive experiences and special events. And that’s not all. The CNE Connected ticket includes a free CNE 2022 General Admission ticket as well. More details can be found on the website.
Toronto Beach Club
The Toronto Beach Club is the hottest new attraction along Woodbine Beach. The menu focuses on Mediterranean dishes, which features seafood, meats and dazzling drinks. The space itself encompasses a spacious indoor and outdoor dining area. Reservations can be made via Open Table here.
