Happy Monday, folks! With Christmas only a few days away, we hope you all have been getting into the festive spirit (safely, of course). It also means that there are a range of holiday markets and events to check out in The 6ix and we’ve got you covered with a rundown of the things to do in Toronto this week.
Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
Polar Winter Festival
Rides, food trucks, pictures with Santa, Christmas trees and more await you at this immersive experience. The holiday market guarantees a winter wonderland for visitors. It’s open until December 26 and tickets can be purchased online here.
Picasso Exhibit at AGO
Check out the works of one of the greatest artists of all time at the Art Gallery of Ontario. The focus of the exhibition is on Picasso’s Blue Period paintings, inspired by the ongoing issues at the time. Visitors can see more than 100 objects from around the world, including sculptures and works on paper. More information on tickets is available here.
Canadian Tire Christmas Trail
The drive-thru event features a 1.5km pathway filled with installations, vibrant lights, entertainment and so much more. There’s also a Santa’s Workshop complete with festive tunes and decor.
Holiday Street Market
It’s the last week to check out this holiday market at the Scarborough Town Centre, so make sure you don’t miss out on the fun. We’re talking marvelous rides, fun tunes and plenty of wondrous food trucks and vendors. Tickets are priced at $20 each for adults and can be purchased here.
