Happy official start of spring, everyone! It is finally a new season and what better way to celebrate than with some fun activities our city has to offer? Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival
Check out a series of comedic acts and performances from March 23 – 27 at this year’s comedy festival. The lineup features artists like Emily Richardson, Your Friends Comedy, MK Morris and so many more. Tickets for the virtual event can be purchased online here.
Justin Bieber at Scotiabank Arena
Catch the Canadian singer in action at the Scotiabank Arena on March 25. Bieber also has two more shows scheduled for June 7 and 8. For ticket purchases, you can visit the website here.
60 Works/60 Years
The special exhibition features the artworks of 60 artists, including that of 2021 recipient of the Mayor’s Purchase Award, Vanessa Dion Fletcher. All the artistic pieces are open to the public for viewing until April 22. It is located at St. Lawrence Market on the second floor.
Get Your Game On
The new family entertainment centre, Get Your Game On (GYGO), is opening on March 25. As part of the unveiling, the Canadian debut of NERF Challenge – The Ultimate NERF Playground will be happening as well.
Toronto Biennial of Art
The second edition of the festival is opening its doors starting from March 26 until June 5, 2022. There are 37 local and global artists coming together for the event and over 23 new commissions in various places around Toronto and the GTA.
Lavender Creek Story Cabaret
Enjoy a night of performances from four artists, including Wolf Saga, Bear Witness, Salma Hindy and Myst Milano. The event, hosted by Luminato, will feature interviews with the artists as well. It’s taking place March 24 at 7pm and tickets can be purchased here.
