Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
Dis/Play
The Disability Arts project will feature 50+ disabled creatives at multiple locations across the city. The outdoor art video installation is set to be projected on spaces at Walmer Road Baptist Church, Artscape Wychwood Barns, and Miles Nadal JCC from November 12-27, 2021.
Wuxly Movement Pop-Up
The vegan and sustainable outerwear brand welcomes visitors to check out its seasonal pop-up near Trinity Bellwoods Park. The location will house a selection of its classic products, along with the newest fleece collection. The store is operating until February 28, 2022 at 884 Queen Street W.
Studio Little Red
Looking for stunning art and special gifts this holiday season? Hosted by Studio Little Red, the pop-up gallery features art, furniture, jewellery and more by many Canadian, female and BIPOC artists including Silvia Taylor, Dennis Lin, Anthea Baxter-Page and others. It will be operating until the end of November at 930 Dundas St West (House of WC space).
Snow Magic
Get ready to step into a winter wonderland filled with 18 pieces of artwork, a 1.7km long magical drive-thru and other interactive sights. The event opens at Ontario Place on November 12. For ticket purchases and information, check out the website here.
History Toronto
The newest entertainment venue in town is of course, Drake’s History Toronto. The space is set to host a variety of artists and performances in the coming weeks. And this weekend’s headliners include Thundercat (American bass guitarist) and Zeds Dead (electronic duo). Tickets can be purchased online through the website.
