Happy Monday and last week of September, folks! It’s not just the usual activities that are happening in The 6ix, but the season of scare is almost here too. And of course, it’s sweater weather! But there’s still some time to take in some outdoor fun and we’ve got you covered with the things to do in Toronto this week.
Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
Flax Home x Poppy Barley
Get ready for a 3-day shopping experience, brought to you by Flax Home and Poppy Barley. The pop-up will be offering customers the chance to test and experience a variety of products. This include linen home goods, handbags, shoes and more. Orders can then be placed on the spot for home delivery. It is running from October 2 – 4 and appointments can be made here.
Geary Art Crawl
This art and cultural event is taking place on Geary Avenue from October 2 – 3. You can find visual art installations, art scavenger hunt, food, music and lots more. The Geary Art Crawl offers free admission but the musical performances require separate tickets. More information about the event and ticket purchases can be found here.
Legends of Horror
Toronto’s Casa Loma is soon going to be home to an immersive Halloween-themed experience. 3D imagery projection, scary characters and creepy decor are just some of the things to look forward to. The sixth edition of this annual event is set to take place from October 1 – 31, 2021 and you can buy tickets here.
One of the scariest activities of the season is back at Canada’s Wonderland. Be prepared for an array of horror attractions like scare zones, freaky rides and spooky shows. Live shows and night rides are part of the experience as well. The attraction is open on select nights until October 31, 2021. Check out the website here for more information on ticket purchases.
It’s the last week of the city’s DineTogether initiative before wrapping up on October 3, 2021. More than 200 restaurants are offering special menus ranging from $15 – $50 per person. This is available through dining in, patio, takeout or delivery. Check out the full list of participating restaurants here.
