We’re finally on the flip side of the lockdown! Ugh, how many times am I going to have to write that this year? Fingers crossed that this will be our first and final lockdown of 2022. After weeks of isolation, what better way to socialize than in a club or bar in The 6ix, right? Since we’ve had so many different covid protocols and restrictions, it’s hard to keep up with the current rules. We’ve got the scoop on what you can do at clubs and bars in Toronto right now.
Here’s what you can do at clubs and bars in Toronto right now
Bars and clubs ARE open in Toronto but with a few restrictions. You need to be fully vaccinated with your QR code in order to enter. Venues also have to operate at 50% capacity. Of course masks are still required for servers and guests unless they are eating or drinking (nothing new there).
Unfortunately you must be seated at all times while eating or drinking and dancing is only allowed by performers. Although our dance club dreams can’t be a reality right now doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time! Up to 10 people are allowed at one table if they are not from the same household so socializing shouldn’t be a problem. Karaoke isn’t allowed at this time but pool, games and DJs are!
Although things look a little different right now, we should still be able to make the most of the reopening rules!
