The list of pizza joints in the city keeps growing and we’re all here for it. What’s better is all the one-of-a-kind flavours and unique creations that come out of it. Not to mention, flavours inspired a blend of cultures. Which is exactly what Caribbean Slice is all about. The launch of the Caribbean-inspired pizzeria was so popular that they sold out on the opening day and had to close the next day.
“We have no more inventory and have to restock,” the restaurant had announced on their Instagram page after the day of their unveiling. They also shared that they had completed just under 100 orders in about 10 hours. The post gained traction from customers, with many replying that even though they had to wait long for the food, it was worth it.
So what makes the Caribbean-inspired pizzeria so special that people are hyping up the pizzas? It’s the combination of toppings and flavours. Items like Jerk Seafood, Ackee & Salt Fish Pizza, Oxtail Pizza and Jerk Chicken grace the menu. As for the toppings, there are ingredients like plantain, scotch bonnet, oxtail, lobster and more.
There’s also the topic to customise your own pizza or make your own pizza patties. This comes with a choice of topping, sauce and coco bread. If you want to pair your pizzas with some other dish, then loaded fries and wings are available.
The Caribbean-inspired pizzeria is situated at 1764 Eglinton Avenue and they’re open daily from 11am – 9:30pm. You can either head down to the restaurant directly or they’re also available for delivery via DoorDash. So if you’re wondering which pizza joint to check out next, you know where to go.
