If we had to make a list of all the awesome bakeries to check out in The 6ix, it would be a long one. And to that list, we would have to add a popular bakery in Toronto, Prairie Boy Bread, which has recently opened a new location at Yonge and St. Clair.

Prairie Boy Bread
The sourdough bread bakery is known for their completely organic bread, made with locally sourced flour. They offer a variety of options when it comes to fresh bread, like Double Fermented Multigrain, Winterpeg Rye, baguette and lots more. They also have seasonal offerings on rotation, along with weekly specials.
Their most current offering, available until December, is Beer Bread. The product is a result of the company’s partnership with local brewery, Blood Brothers Brewing. Along with the beer, the bread only contains four other simple ingredients. It is available by the loaf, priced at $8.
The Prairie Boy Bread bakery in Toronto is now open at 1 St. Clair East. They’re open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 am and on Sundays from 8 am.
