About Pearl Chinese and their new location
The award-winning restaurant, which first opened in 1983, already has three locations in the GTA. One of their locations is in the Harbourfront, there is another one in Oakville, and the other is inside Bayview Village Shopping Centre. The upcoming fourth one? It’s going to be right in Yorkville, 730 Yonge Street to be exact.
The restaurant chain specializes in Chinese cuisine with an expansive menu. The Harbourfront branch also comes with views of the skyline, situated next to CN Tower, Union Station and Scotiabank Arena.
The menu features both lunch and dinner dim sum options. The steamed ones come with fillings like vegetables, beef balls, curry cuttlefish, bean curd rolls with pork and shrimp and others. Har Kau and siu mai are also available. The dinner portion has many more fried options, like eggplant stuffed with shrimp, garlic shrimp, and shrimp toast.
In the mood for something more than dim sum? The menu is also split into noodles, rice, seafood, chicken, soup, pork & beef, and desserts. There’s also a selection of specialty dishes: lamb sautéed with homemade sweet and hot sauce, braised goose feet, deep-fried spicy lobster, Peking duck (two courses) and others.
