We all know the excitement was real when one the city’s popular cheese stores, Cheese Boutique, launched its own food truck. And this year, there was a new addition to the concept. Until August, a different Toronto chef is set to take over Cheese Boutique’s food truck every weekend. This time, it’s none other than Chef Devan Rajkumar’s turn!
The Guyanese-Canadian celebrity chef is well-known for his regular appearances on Cityline and his Instagram series, Chef Dev at Home. His food truck menu will feature soups, grilled cheese sandwiches and samosas. Customers will also be able to purchase some merchandise items, like the Chef Dev Fierce Blend and Chef Dev At Home Bundle.
Customers can get a taste of his dishes on 17th and 18th April, from 11am until it’s sold out. The Cheese Boutique’s food truck will be at the usual location at 6 Ripley Avenue, Toronto. To date, the food truck has been hosted by various chefs, including Chef Trevor Lui (Joybird Fried Chicken) and Chef Julie Marteleira (LEÑA Restaurante).
The Cheese Boutique owner, Afrim Pristine, also has other popular Toronto chefs and restaurants for the lineup until August. This includes Antler, Chen Chen Hot Chicken, Marben, along with Chef Romain Avril.
You can follow Cheese Boutique on Instagram, where the chefs and their menus are released every Wednesday.
