Having joined the Toronto Raptors in 2012, it’s no surprise that Kyle Lowry has left a permanent mark in the city’s basketball scene. While things are still unclear about the star’s future plans with the team, a Toronto restaurant is certainly hoping to swing his decision. Churrasqueira Martins is officially offering free chicken for life to Lowry, should he decide to stay with the beloved Raptors. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

The Portuguese chicken restaurant was certainly not joking around. The owner himself, Rui Martins, hopped on social media to make the enticing offer. The best thing about this pretty cool marketing strategy? It’s definitely the giant billboard on Yonge and Dundas that reads, “Hey Kyle Lowry, if you stay we’ll give you free chicken for life!” Isn’t that creative?
It had been in the works for a while, with the restaurant getting people excited since last week. They had been handing out free chicken sandwiches last Tuesday and Wednesday as a part of the reveal.
Churrasqueira Martins is known for their variety of meat and seafood dishes, all inspired and influenced by the flavours of Portuguese cuisine. Their patio is open for dine in at 2700 St Clair Av. They are also available on all major platforms for takeout and delivery.
