The holidays are quickly approaching and that means tons of celebrations are in order. Seasonal parties and events are in full swing in the city of Toronto, and a local tea shop wants to make sure that those who celebrate without liquor get some lovely libations, too. With several locations across the city, Yang Tea Shop and Seedlip are offering mocktails that are bursting with flavour this holiday season.
In collaboration with Seedlip, a company that specializes in distilled non-alcoholic spirits, and celebrated bartender Chris Davai, Yang Tea Shop’s holiday collection draw influence from Davai’s Middle-Eastern heritage and traditional bubble tea flavours, elevating them with the distilled Seedlip creations. Options include a cold drink that pairs pomegranate with citrus and fennel seeds to create a warm and refreshing flavour profile.
Another mocktail creation, a warm creation this time, combines cinnamon, green cardamom, star anise and coconut to evoke a Thai milk tea flavour profile. Of course, it’s crafted with Davai’s unique spin in mind. Both drinks premiered on the menu on November 18th and are available for the entire holiday season.
