It seems like there’s a lot of new openings planned for this year within the city’s dining scene, one of which is arriving from the West Coast. We’re talking about the popular Vancouver steakhouse, Black+Blue. This would make it the first Toronto restaurant for Glowbal Restaurant Group, which operates the steakhouse.

The branch is set to be established at the city’s Financial District. Since the opening of the flagship location, the steakhouse has garnered plenty of attention from all over. It was also the recipient of Tripadvisor’s 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award for Top 10% of Restaurants Worldwide.
So what’s on the menu? The menu includes a selection of sandwiches and main dishes, but of course, the highlight is the steak. Canadian Prime, Japanese A5 Wagyu, Japanese Kobe Beef, and USDA Prime are all available. Guests can also pair their meals with flavourful fusion cocktails that feature season ingredients.
The Toronto location is expected to be a two-storey space, along with hosting a 2,000-square-foot garden patio. The opening this year also marks the Glowbal Restaurant Group’s 20th anniversary, with owner Emad Yacoub having begun his career in the 6ix. Black+Blue will be launching in the fall, so make sure to keep an eye out for more details.
