Harry Potter is in a movie called Horns where he grows a pair and creeps out the locals. Okay, maybe that came out wrong. Basically, Daniel Radcliffe plays Ignatius “Ig” Perrish, a man who is blamed by all the locals of his small Pacific North-West town for the brutal rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). In the wake of this, Ig suddenly grows a pair of horns from his forehead that cause those around him to reveal their deepest, darkest desires and secrets to him. Armed with these new-found protrusions and powers, he sets about town trying to find the real murderer of his love.
The film premiered this past Friday at TIFF 2013 to much hype at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema. Looking very dapper outside of his Hogwarts robes, Radcliffe was decked out in a black suit and a silk navy button-up underneath with a black collar. Getting cozy with him was co-star Juno Temple, looking absolutely stunning in a long-sleeve black dress and a messy down-do, with heavy rings, and a silver and gold metallic clutch. Also on hand was co-star Mitchell Kummen and director Alexandre Aja. The best accessory of the evening? The bright red, plastic devil horns being passed around by Potter et. al. Totally stole the show. Check out the photos of the Horns premiere and after-party at TIFF 2013 below, courtesy of Lu Chau, Photagonist.
