The honest truth about Reese Witherspoon’s latest TIFF flick The Good Lie is that, actually, it’s hardly a Reese Witherspoon flick at all. If you thought it was, well – you’ve been lied to. We’re sorry. The movie is about a group of Sudanese refugees as they struggle to emigrate to America. Witherspoon plays a supporting role this time around, instead allowing the spotlight to rightfully focus on the Sudanese refugees and their journey to America, which is what this film is truly about.
Truth and lies aside, Reese Witherspoon and Corey Stoll were dressed to the nines for The Good Lie’s premiere after party at Nota Bene. Already, there’s talk that The Good Lie is a favourite for the people’s choice award this year. Check out some of the action below.
