For the sixth year in a row, Nikki Beach graced the city of Toronto with a TIFF pop-up at Spoke Club on King West. Opened for four days during the festival Nikki Beach Toronto is designed to be a relaxing stop off for VIPs and media during hectic TIFF days traveling from event to movie to press junket. At night, it’s the place to party with opening night always being an official “white” party – dressing the part is mandatory. On the last day, the Sunday brunch is where Toronto’s most stylish eat and drink the previous night’s hangover away.
This year Nikki Beach presented a fabulous fashion show by Everyday Sunday swimwear and Santika Design. When we say fabulous, we mean fabulous. The stunning boho chic Santika designs had all the ladies wanting to pull out their credit cards and the Everyday Sunday swimwear had the boys gawking.
The day was perfect with the sun shining and ideal 25-degree weather. The live music by singer Shaharah with Paul Lizzi on drums was outstanding and created a vibe that had everyone dancing and smiling the afternoon away with a little champagne buzz. Nikki Beach truly is a fabulous TIFF pop-up – only thing missing is the beach.
Our crew was there to check out the fashion show and catch it all on video…
