Nikki Beach is all about exclusivity and glamour. So it’s of no surprise that for the past four years, Nikki Beach has popped up at TIFF. The Toronto International Film Festival attracts many a celebrity and industry pro, as does Nikki Beach’s clubs around the world – Miami, St. Barth, Marrakech, Mallorca, etc. So the presence of this exclusive club from humble beginnings is ever so apropos.
This year, the Nikki Beach TIFF pop-up was held at The Spoke Club. (Members-only in a members-only spot, makes sense, right?) From the 6th through the 11th, socialites, stars, industry peeps and the like hit up Nikki Beach for lunch, dinner, or the night-time party. They worked with Spoke to cultivate a menu of favourites and some new dishes, as well as some delish cocktails for the libation loving imbiber.
We popped by for lunch on the first Friday of TIFF, and after some beautiful salads, and some excellent swag from Philosophy, we were thoroughly impressed with this year’s pop-up. So, we decided to pop by again on Sunday for Nicki to have a chat with Lucia Penrod, Co-Owner and Global Brand Standards at Nikki Beach, and Cleo Vo Dai, Global Marketing Manager at Nikki Beach. These two gals were lovely and sweet, and gave us some great inside scoops. (Seven hotels on the horizon, hello!)
