Best place to spot the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett this September? No, we’re not talking about Soho House. Just in time for TIFF, Toronto is getting a new cocktail bar, and this one is definitely something to raise a glass to. If the already iconic STORYS venue couldn’t seem to get any cooler, it just did with the news that The Cocktail Parlour is opening at the end of the month. INK Entertainment and Icon Legacy Hospitality, the renowned hospitality groups behind hotter-than-hot haunts like Weslodge and Patria, will bring The Cocktail Parlour to STORYS, a new drinks hotspot that will feature 66 custom cocktails along with a menu of spirit-inspired snacks. Chef Stuart Cameron (of Patria and Weslodge) is behind the snack/share plates, and Director of Cocktails, Elan Marks, is taking the reigns of the cocktail menu. Expect some serious old school flair on both the eats and bevvies menus to reflect the historic 170-year-old event space.
“We envisioned a space recalling the grandeur of the 1920s and 30s: just an atmosphere of old-world charm, a place that offers a more open and inviting environment with comfortable chairs and light music playing in the background to set the tone. Come here and make your own world,” said Charles Khabouth, CEO INK Entertainment, in a press release.
The Cocktail Parlour at STORYS will be open 7 days a week from 5pm to 1am, and the kitchen will stay open until 11pm.
