Cheers to making it to another Monday, Toronto! We’re just a few weeks away from Spring and hopefully that means leaving the snowy days behind. It’s not been an easy one for sure, but thankfully, our favourite restaurants have been around for us to enjoy. Juicy Birds
Meet the newest spot for Nashville fried chicken! The menu features a whole range of sandwiches, chicken pieces and sides. There’s even the classic chicken and waffles combo available for all those who’d like to opt for that. Juicy Birds is open daily from 11:30am and they’re available for delivery and takeout on all major platforms.
Mandy’s
There’s salads and then there’s gourmet salads from Mandy’s. The Montreal-based restaurant has finally arrived in Toronto and it’s time for salad lovers to rejoice. They’re known for their creative combos with special ingredients, complete with signature sauces. Additionally, they’ve also got quinoa bowls, smoothies, and soups. Mandy’s Salads is available on Uber Eats for delivery and takeout.
Little Vietnam
Thinking of trying a home-cooked Vietnamese meal? Then Little Vietnam’s the place you’re looking for. The delectable menu features a huge selection of items to choose from. We’re talking appetizers (spring rolls, wontons, salads), pho, rice, banh mi, and vermicelli. They’re open Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.
Chaska
Experience the taste of Indian street food without having to travel to India. Chaska offers all the classics with dishes like Pav Bhaji, Samosa Sliders, Pani Poori, and more. If you’re looking for something a little more filling, you can pick from four of their meal options. The restaurant is open daily from 11am.
Village Pizza
It’s never a bad choice to start the week with a pizza. You can find pizzas here by the slice or as 14″ and 18″ pies. They come with quirky and fun names, like Hungry Vegan, Queen Margherita, Thanks, Obama to name a few. They also have a seasonal one on rotation, along with wings and dips. They’re open Sunday to Friday from 3pm and Saturday from 2pm.
Amano Trattoria
Few things can be as enticing as a plate of fresh, warm pasta. Which is what you don’t want to miss out on at this Italian restaurant. The menu includes pasta dishes that highlight ingredients like mussels, roasted squash, ‘nduja, short rib and pork shoulder. You can also enjoy a selection of mains, appetizers and desserts.
