Cheers to making it to another Monday, Toronto! We don’t know about you but it sure does feel like summer slipped right past us in the blink of an eye and now fall is almost upon us. But there’s still a couple of weeks to take advantage of patio dining and enjoy the weather in the midst of good meal. Having trouble deciding on the restaurant? Not to worry, for our weekly roundup of top six restaurants of the week is here for the rescue.

Here are top 6 restaurants of the week:
Eataly
This Italian marketplace is not only known for their incredible fresh produce but also the restaurants. One of the popular ones is their Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol, where you can soak in the last remaining warm days while enjoying some aperitivo. They have also partnered with Cheese Boutique to create the Il Tagliere Dell’Amicizia (The Friendship Board). They’re open daily from 12 pm and reservations can be made here.
Must haves: Gnocchi al Pomodoro
Grey Gardens
Calling all wine and seafood lovers! Not only do they have quite an extensive wine collection but also a variety of dishes that bring out the flavours of the sea. You can find snacks, sharable plates, noodles and dessert. As for the wine, they serve different red, white and cider options. Their hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 5pm – 10pm and reservations can be made on the website.
Must haves: Smoked fish, Scallop
Chiado
You can expect to be transported to Portugal with a dinner at Chiado. The menu features a carefully curated selection of appetizers, main courses and salads. This includes grilled squid, lobster, shrimp, sea bass and lots more. Drinks include cocktails, champagne, port and wines. Chiado is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm – 10pm and you can book a table online.
Must haves: Salmon, Sardine
RendezViews
Toronto’s largest outdoor patio is home to a stunning variety of eats and drinks. The latest addition to that is Chef Nuit’s new ‘By Chef Nuit @ The Fifth’ menu. Head over to The Fifth’s East Side tables at RendezViews to sample dishes like Chicken Satay Poutine, Thai-Mex Nachos and lots more.
Must haves: Tom Yum wings, Crispy Fish Tacos
Seoul Shakers
The Korean restaurant and bar offers a delectable array of snacks and dishes. The menu features items like Tempura Salt Cod, Kimchi Pear Wedge Salad, Eggplant Kanpugi and Pork Belly Steak Saam. The atmosphere of the restaurant is retro with the neon accessories and intimate seating to make it easy to talk and enjoy a good meal. Indoor dining and patio are open and there are no reservations.

Maha’s
And last, but definitely not the least for our restaurants of the week. If an Egyptian brunch is on your list of things to try, then you don’t want to miss out on Maha’s. The menu highlights the classics like Shakshuka, falafel, date grilled cheese and so much more. They also have a Foole Selection (Ful medames) which are cooked fava beans. They’re open Thursday to Tuesday from 8 am – 4:30 pm and there are no reservations.
