Now we all know and love lavender for how soothing and relaxing it can be when used as a wellness accompaniment. But in our coffee? Believe it or not, lavender’s floral qualities make it a great addition to a caffeinated beverage, like a latte.
“We are excited to partner with Terre Bleu Lavender Farm who, like Balzac’s Coffee Roasters, is rooted in sustainability and committed to providing high-quality products and experiences to its customers,” said Todd Kelly, CEO of Balzac’s Coffee Roasters. “We look forward to providing customers with the opportunity to savour the taste of a truly local beverage this summer and continuing in our tradition of connecting Canadians through freshly roasted coffee.”
Both Balzac’s and Terre Bleu share a deep commitment to local, sustainability-focused initiatives so this partnership is a natural fit. Folks can get their hands on the Lavender Latte during the month of August at their respective locations so if there isn’t a Balzac’s near you, head to Terre Bleu in Milton to try.
“The partnership between Balzac’s Coffee Roasters and Terre Bleu really does feel like the perfect blend to us. We are proud to be bringing sustainable, organic, homegrown products to Canadians and I hope that our customers love the Lavender Latte as much as we do. It’s always a treat to bring something to market that has such heart and passion behind it,” said Ian Baird, CEO of Terre Bleu.
