Get ready folks, because fall’s about to be a season of festivals and events. We’re super excited about it all, even more so because it’s an indication of return to normalcy. And if you’re into food and films, then the Toronto Food Film Fest is for you. The annual event is making a comeback next month for its third edition and it sounds like it’s going to be a thrilling one.

The event is set to be two-fold. The in-person activities will be taking place from October 1 – 4, 2021 while there will be virtual programming from October 1 – 15, 2021. Toronto Food Film Fest is all about watching films about food while enjoying a delicious array of dishes and snacks from different vendors. The 2021, screenings will feature 20 different films. Two of these will be screened during the in-person event and the others will be showcased online.
As for the food, guests can choose from different options. One is the “screen to plate” experience where you can pair your screenings with curated meals. There’s also the VIP pass that includes a “Phancy Snack Box” filled with treats and goodies by Phancy’s Bodega. This includes popcorn, pretzels, soda and more. Want some espresso to go with your movie? You can get your drinks from Rufino Espresso, along with meals curated by The Depanneur.
This year’s in-person TFFF event will take place at Spadina Museum’s Historic House & Gardens. Tickets and passes can be purchased online on the website here.
