We’ve all been hearing about how everyone should try their best to support local during these difficult times. Well, here’s an exciting opportunity to do just that. SaveHospitalityCA has launched a nationwide initiative called, LocalLicious, in an effort to raise money for charity. And of course, all the while supporting local restaurants by ordering from their affordable prix fixe menus.
Many restaurants have opted to be a part of this, including over 75 right here in our city. From February 25 to March 7, you can order from their cheap prix fixe menus at affordable prices. As a part of the event, $1 from each menu will be going towards a charity as per the restaurant’s choice.
It is also up to the restaurant to decide on their menu and the price point for each. Some of the participating Toronto restaurants include La Palma, Maison Selby, Storm Crow Manor, Constantine, among many others.
It’s the perfect excuse to sample and experience new cuisines. Spanish restaurant, Aviv Immigrant Kitchen is offering a 3-course menu, capped at $31 per person. If you’re looking to try some French food, check out Biff’s Bistro. They have two options for a three-course menu, each priced at $55. Our favourite nerdy spot in town, Storm Crow Manor, is also joining in on the fun, with a three-course menu priced at $27.
Experience fine dining right at home, with Mediterranean restaurant Constantine’s ‘Finish at Home Kit.’ It includes a 3-course meal, with $90 for pick-up and $105 for delivery. Orders must be placed by 5pm February 25. Check out the details of the affordable prix fixe menu items on their site.
