Dream of going to Niagara but can’t handle the traffic? Greater Toronto Airways has come up with a solution for you in the form of under-15-minute flights from Toronto to St. Catherines.
Want a quick trip to the Falls? CBC is reporting that Greater Toronto Airways has announced plans to operate daily scheduled flights from Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport to the Niagara District Airport in St. Catherines.
The airline company has proposed to use eight-seat executive style planes to make the 12 minute trip from Toronto to Niagra.
This new flight path probably won’t be the most financially responsible option for those that make the daily commute from Niagara to Toronto and back. Though, top executives at Greater Toronto Airways state that the new flight will be great for professionals who need to be in Toronto for an early morning meeting or individuals who don’t have the luxury of time – it’s also a great way to avoid traffic on the QEW!
According to CBC and the Greater Toronto Airways website, the cost of a one-way ticket will be around $85 where return flights start at $159.
