As the weather heats up so, too, does Toronto’s events scene. There’s pretty much 93 events a day in the city throughout the month of June, so we’ve picked through the herd to find the shining stars you simply must attend, dahlings…
Tiger of Sweden is launching a month long list of festivities on the Ossington. Everything from patio parties to some fab shopping events, be sure to drop by Ossington for some stylin’ events!
June 1 to July 31
There’s a huge pig scavenger hunt this month and it’s something you do not want to miss! Local production house Big Pig Production Co, in collaboration with Toronto Underground Market and Hogtown Brewers, presents #BigPigTO, a delicious new festival that will connect proud, food-loving Torontonians to the great, unique spots their city has to offer and encourage them to dig the pig.
Sample as many (and as much) of the 20 or so top-ranking beers that’ll be on-hand during the annual Brewer’s Plate at the CBC Atrium. Paired with gourmet bites, a silent auction, and live entertainment, this is like a foodie’s utopia realized.
Ladies (and special boys) are in for the ultimate sexy soiree as HiM (that’s Handsome International Men, FYI) presents Evolution, a dynamic, exciting, and, most of all, sensual show for an unforgettable girl’s night out.
The Power Ball
Support Toronto’s arts community at the annual Power Ball bash at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery. The Old/New World themed evening will be a sensory soiree fit for #SexySelfies and 140 character splurges of FOMO-inducing awe.
AGO’s First Thursdays
Competing with The Power Ball (good luck!) is the AGO’s awesome First Thursdays, this round with headlining band Sloan and themed around True Patriot Love. We’ll stand on guard for thee, Canada!

Back for another year of artistic grandeur, the Luminato Festival kicks off on June 6th for 10 straight days of creative revery. Sub-events abound aplenty, so check out the full festival brochure to plan your cultural attacks.
Arts & Crafts Field Trip

Not to be confused with an elementary school outing, Field Trip sees some of the top Canadian bands bashing up your ear drums with epic live sets at Fort York & Garrison Common.
The Great Canadian Cheese Festival

The Culinary Adventure Co. and Cheesewerks have paired up to take you on a trek to Prince Edward County for the ultimate fromage fete. Start at Cheesewerks for a grab n’ go breakfast before heading out of town on a luxury coach.
3rd Annual Femme Fatale at The Den
Come down to the Junction for The Den’s 3rd annual Femme Fatale event where you can learn to create your own jewellery, shop some crazy cool jewellery pieces and support local artisans. Oh and the first 30 guests will receive a free gift bag filled with goodies worth $300!
A Campaign For Memories Alzheimers Awareness Event

It’s that time of year again… Pride is back and this year will be bigger than ever. Like, huge, massive. It might even have its own orbit! It’s a World Pride event this go-round, meaning that pretty much every LGBTQ peep with a stockpile of AIRMILES will be descending upon the city for 10 day’s worth of events, parties, activism, music, parades, live entertainment, and headliners like Melissa Ethridge, Tegan and Sara, and the list goes on.
