When it comes to farmers’ markets, we all know that Toronto is not short on options in any way. After all, it’s a great way to get our hands on the best local and fresh produce all the while supporting farmers. And if you’re a regular at St. Lawrence Market, then you’ll be excited to hear that a new farmers’ market is opening right in the vicinity next year.

Farmers’ Market at St. Lawrence
The new destination is expected to be open by fall next year and it will be at St. Lawrence Market Market. It is set to be a lot more spacious in size than the previous market in the same location and will grant easier accessibility to visitors. Vendors will also have more room to have their produce on display.
It is also going to be designed with customizable modifications for the summer. The market will then be operational with an open environment so customers can enjoy the warm days while shopping for items. An archeological display will be available for viewing as well.
While there is no fixed opening date yet, construction is expected to be completed by fall 2022 followed by an official opening.
