One glance at the summer line-up of events will tell you that this is the season of cool events. And I’m not just talking about food festivals. There are interactive activities and pop-ups happening as well. One of the upcoming events to look forward to is the Immersive King Tut in Toronto. The Magic Journey To The Light exhibit will give visitors the chance to get to know more about ancient Egypt.
Immersive King Tut in Toronto
The event is being organized by the same team behind Immersive Van Gogh and Immersive Klimt. According to the attraction’s description, it highlights the journey of King Tut through the underworld. Like the other Immersive exhibitions, this too will feature lights, videos, images and moving visuals to further the narration.
Each visitor plays the role of an explorer once they’re in the exhibit. A part of his journey is the fight against the “Forces of Chaos” to save ancient Egypt. This is all brought to life thanks to the same level of technology as seen in the other exhibits. The attraction is also a celebration and honour of the fact that his tomb was discovered a century ago.
Immersive King Tut: Magic Journey To The Light will be opening its doors on August 10. It’s being hosted at the Lighthouse Artspace Toronto on 1 Yonge Street. The tickets come in three different categories, which are basic, premium, and VIP. They start at $30, with the price going higher based on the type of ticket you choose.
You can purchase the tickets online on the website.
