This year, Valdez will be creating a dining experience inspired by bazaars of the Far East (aren’t they a Mexican restaurant? Just sayin!) With eight food stations set up, guests will be able to visit each and sample from a variety of different dishes. The super sexy Chef Steve Gonzalez will also be creating a special menu for the evening and a DJ will be in-house to keep the Mexican fiesta going all night long! Queen West contemporary hotspot Nyood will be serving up two seatings (6:30PM and 8:30PM) of prix fixe fabulousness by Chef Vittorio Colacitti. For $60 a person, guests will enjoy an amuse bouche along with a three-course meal followed by dessert. Expect nothing but the best in traditional meets trendy with dishes like Veal Tenderloin, Miso Black Cod, and Wild Mushroom Pappardelle. DYNE Restaurant – $65 per Person (First Seating)
How time flies! DYNE will be hosting their first New Years Eve ever this year and it’s going to be killer. The masters of Asian/Iberian fusion will be featuring two different prix fixe seatings, one at 6:00PM and the second at 8:30PM. Each will have separate, seasonally crafted 3-course meals though the latter seating will cost a little more ($95 per person). However, them extra bills will get you drinks and dancing in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. Also in celebration of the holidays, DYNE will be pouring Lanson Champagne by the glass for the whole month of December along with hosting private events up to 40 people. Osteria Dei Ganzi – “Guys and Dolls” $45 per Person (First Seating)
Hosted by local hurricane of fabulosity, Proud FM radio personality Mike Chalut and Osteria dei Ganzi will be throwing a 1920s tribute party called “Guys and Dolls” to celebrate 2014. The first seating is $45 and includes a 4-course prix fixe while the second seating is going for $75 but includes the prix fixe, an over-the-top dance party in the restaurant’s beautiful bar and patio area, and rivers of bubbly at midnight! Touro Brazilian Steakhouse
This year, Touro Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse has really saved the best for last. Well, the last day of 2013! On December 31st, Tuoro will have three seating – 4:30PM, 7:30PM, and 10:30PM. The 4:30PM seating will include either their famous, melt-off-the-stick, all-you-can-eat traditional rodizio menu or a prix fixe a la carte, both for $55 a person. A Touro signature cocktail and a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne is included. At the later two seatings, guests will also receive a freshly-baked lava cake, for $75 a person.
