Italian food lovers, rejoice! If you’re like me, then you can agree that the city can never have too many places that celebrate this cuisine. Pizza, pasta, tiramisu, I mean what’s not to love? So naturally, the opening of a new Italian restaurant in Toronto is always exciting. What’s better is that this one will be coming in hot from the Terroni team!
Spaccio In Toronto
It’s no secret that Terroni has made quite the name for themselves since the establishment, with locations in Toronto and Los Angeles. This had led them to open the flagship Spaccio spot in Toronto’s Corktown back in 2020. This came complete with a grocery section for customers, along with dining services. And now, they’re expanding in The 6ix, set to open the new spot on Sterling Road.
You can expect the same vibe and quality of authentic Italian delicacies, but in a much bigger space. There’s even going to be an outdoor patio, which would definitely be a welcome addition for the coming summer months. The bakery and café will also feature the same collection of baked breads, treats and pastries, along with various types of pasta.
Spaccio’s grocery portion will make available all sorts of pantry items and essentials for Italian cooking. The restaurant is expected to be situated at the previous Drake Commissary location. The exact opening date for the Italian restaurant in Toronto hasn’t been announced yet, so make sure to keep tabs on their socials.
