We get the sneak peek of the luxurious Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver, coming to Vancouver next year…
Vancouver is about to get a little more glamorous. Word on the street is the famed Trump International Hotel and Tower, scheduled to open in late 2016, has partnered with the Holborn Group and TA Global Berhad for the management of the restaurant, night club, and fitness space. The world-renowned Trump could only be working with equally-glorious brands, bringing in prominent Hong Kong restaurant Mott 32, Las Vegas Drai’s Beach Club & Night Club, and well-known fitness club Equinox.
“Offering residents and guests access to first-class dining and entertainment puts Trump Vancouver at the forefront of luxury in Vancouver,” explained Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization.
Alongside Trump Spa by Ivanka, London Air Services, and Rolls-Royce, these three further additions to the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver certainly confirm his thoughts. Mott 32 is one of the most recognized and distinguished Chinese restaurants in Asia, winning several awards including the prestigious Hong Kong Tatler’s “Best New Restaurant” for 2014/15. Named after 32 Mott Street, New York City’s first Chinese convenience store, which opened in 1891, the cuisine is mostly Cantonese with signature Sichuan and Beijing dishes.
Drai’s Beach Club and Night Club, along with the Equinox fitness club follow suit in this glamorous vein. They are luxury leaders in their own right and a perfect compliment to the premium $360-million Arthur Erickson-designed hotel and residence, which will feature 147 guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of meeting and events space, and 217 luxury residences.
Located on the North Shore, the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver will offer residents and guests spectacular views of the water and beyond. With that said, we do hope Trump Vancouver doesn’t follow in the footsteps of the Trump Toronto debacle. While they have confirmed that 70% of the residences have been sold, hopefully tenants are happy once moved in, as Toronto has seen quite the opposite. Nonetheless, the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver is expected to lead the luxury hospitality market of Vancouver and offer the city extravagance like it’s never seen before.
