Many cities in the world continue to be food havens for food enthusiasts and Toronto’s undoubtedly one of them. Whether you’re looking for bistros, fine dining, mom-and-pop shops and more, there’s something for everyone here in The 6ix. Torontonians have the chance to experience the taste and flavours of locally-sourced ingredients and a variety of cuisines. Many restaurants also participate in partnerships to create set menus or dishes that allow diners to enjoy dishes from different cuisines. Most recently, two Toronto restaurants have announced such a collaboration for the month.
About Mandy’s Salads & PAI Northern Thai Kitchen’s new dish
Mandy’s Salads and Pai Northern Thai Kitchen teamed up and created a dish that combines the best of both restaurants. The dish includes Thai-style grilled chicken with mixed greens, mango, peanuts, and Chef Nuit’s passion fruit dressing that brings the flavours of Thailand to Liberty Village and the Castlefield Design District. The dish is called the PAI Thai Salad.
The salad is available to try at two Kitchen Hub Food Hall locations. You can find the dish at 1100 King Street West inside Longo’s or at 1121 Castlefield Avenue.
The exclusive dish can be purchased this month, starting from May 24. It can either be bought for dine-in, takeaway and delivery through the food hall’s website.
“We are so excited to be partnering with PAI Northern Thai Kitchen, exclusively in our two Kitchen Hub locations, to bring our customers this unique and delicious dish. We aimed to combine the freshness and healthy ingredients at Mandy’s with the bold flavors of Chef Nuit’s cuisine,” said Mandy of Mandy’s Salads in a press release statement.
“It marries the beautiful, fresh ingredients from Mandy’s with the signature flavours of Thai cuisine—sweet, salty, sour, and spicy,” explains Chef Nuit Regular of PAI Northern Thai Kitchen.
The Mandy’s x PAI Thai Salad is only available until June 30. You will only find the dish at both of Kitchen Hub Food Hall’s locations. It’s Canada’s first virtual food hall and offers a variety of restaurants on its platform. This includes Wingstop, Gusto 101, Mandy’s Gourmet Salads, Chatime, PAI Northern Thai Kitchen and many others.
“We are proud to offer this innovative takeout experience to our customers and we can’t wait for them to try the Mandy’s x PAI Thai Salad,” said Adam Armeland, CEO of Kitchen Hub Food Hall.
