Taste of Yaletown is back, this time with big changes that will entice foodies with even more creative culinary experiences. This year’s event is moving past strict 3-course, fixed price menus to help local chefs create some unique foodie fun for guests. Chefs are even invited to pair beverages within the price, so expect a fully rounded and delicious culinary treat. Oh, and there’s a free Street Trolley!
Now with a record 30 participating restaurants, Taste of Yaletown sees local kitchens showing off their talents with specially created prix fixe menus of either $25, $35, or $45, inviting guests to affordably experience the neighbourhood’s culture of cuisine. What’s more, some eateries will be providing unique, in-house ticketed items for those patrons wanting to be a bit more exploratory, so even your favourite spots will have something new waiting for you.
The festival runs from October 16th through 27th, and will now feature a free lunch trolley on Wednesdays and Thursdays to show off the other big change: lunch! The trolley is on a 20-minute loop to show off the neighbourhood and showcase some great midday eateries.
