The most delicious team-up in Vancouver is coming back for its fourth year, seeing the best local eateries and local food suppliers coming together to raise money and awareness for our many local farmer’s markets. Vancouver Farmers Markets will be hosting the RIPE Dinner at the Roundhouse Community Centre on Sunday, October 20th, giving local foodies a night of live music, silent auctions, and unique meals provided by some of Vancouver’s best restaurants.
The RIPE festival combines local restaurants, including Vij’s Rangoli, with local VFM farmers and suppliers, giving guests a delicious selection of appetizers before sitting down to a family-style 3-course meal. Of course, local micro-brews, signature cocktails, and BC wines will be available as well. Proceeds from the silent auction will be used for the VFM’s educational programs, as well as operational expenses and new market research to bring even more local food to our fair city!
