Hark! Is that the sound of dozens of champagne corks popping? YELLOWEEK must be in town!
After a successful series of events in both Montreal and Toronto earlier this month, YELLOWEEK has descended upon our beautiful City of Glass. Until May 24th, Veuve Clicquot, known for its deliciously crisp premium brut, invites bubbly lovers to celebrate the best of Canada’s gastronomy, arts, and fashion at a series of wildly entertaining champagne events.
Tonight, Executive Chef Darren Brown is pulling out all the stops at the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s ORU, and has created a tantalizing Veuve Clicquot-paired menu. Guests will dine on decadent delicacies: think albacore toro, uni and divine caviar, and aji and orange brûlée of spot prawn with confit leek and fennel, both paired with Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rosé; and porcini mushroom stuffed quail with truffled sauce chasseur, paired with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage 2004. Our mouths are watering at the thought!

Plan an evening at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s elegant Reflections Outdoor Restaurant and Lounge during YELLOWEEK and discover the “Service a la Française.” With a fabulous glass of Veuve Clicquot, you will receive a complimentary amuse-bouche to enjoy. What a marvelous way to savour our warm, summery nights.
For those of you who prefer more of a party atmosphere with your champers, the bash of the season is taking place on Saturday, May 24th at Cabana. This saucy, anything-goes soiree will feature DJ Marco Petralia and embody the zeste de folie spirit of the beloved Veuve Clicquot. It is sure to be an unforgettable night. Anyone for a little Veuve?
