We’re not sure about you, but the weekend couldn’t come sooner. Here’s our scoop to help you fill your days ahead…

Head over to the North Shore and hit the local slopes while we’ve still got an abundance of snow. Grouse Mountain is hosting its Park Jams featuring mini contests, live music, a Snowshoe Grind fitness challenge, and rewarding beer at their mountaintop pub afterwards.
Over at neighbouring Cypress Mountain, you might want to plan on hitting the slopes Saturday to score a chance to see the Red Bull Jib Ski Kings – back for a second year of jaw-dropping moves – before stopping by The District for their 30 Days of Belgian Beer celebration (on until April 4th).
Grab a little grub at the Celtic Village and Street Market on Saturday and Sunday. Wander your way through the crowd, take in boisterous entertainment, stop by craft booths, and score unique artisan creations and more.

Be sure to continue shopping by heading over to the Vancouver Winter Farmers Market. This winter marketplace is always getting restocked with new, locally-grown and sourced offerings. As we inch toward spring, you can bet there’s plenty more freshly-picked seasonal goods guaranteed to fill your fridge.
Don’t miss the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 16th. This massive spectacle will definitely get you into a festive spirit as one of Vancouver’s largest parades (with more than 2,000 participants and over 200,000 in attendance). Watch out for stilt walkers, pipe bands, Irish Wolf Hounds, the Police Motorcycle brigade, “leprechauns” and more.
