The vegan scene in Toronto continues to flourish and it’s exciting to see. No matter what type of vegan food you’re in the mood for, there’s a place within the city’s sprawling neighbourhoods. This includes Stefano’s Sandwiches, a plant-based pop-up on Trinity Bellwoods.
Stefano’s Sandwiches Plant-Based Spot
Since it opened back in 2021, the pop-up has gained notable recognition among diners in The 6ix. Their inviting menu offers a range of unique sandwiches, pasta, salads, and desserts. They work out of Gia Toronto, an Italian joint with a plant-focused menu.
So what kind of sandwiches can you expect from Stefano’s? The Vegan Fried Chicken Sandwich is one offering, which comes with plant-based chicken (from Spain), breaded spice, and preserved chilies. Vegan Filet O Fish and Vegan Corn’d Beef are also two items that are currently available. The menu rotates frequently, so if you want to stay updated, make sure to check out their socials.
If sandwiches aren’t your thing, you can opt for one of their pasta dishes. At present, the menu features Spaghetti Funghi, and Porcini Agnolotti. The pop-up is available Thursday to Sunday and orders for pick-up and delivery can be placed here.
