As a vegan of over 6 years (yes, as a vegan it’s my responsibility to tell you how long I’ve been vegan), it’s always been my mission to find the best, quality ingredients to enhance my at-home cooking! Ordering specialty products online can be fun, but let’s be real here, buying groceries in person is way more satisfying (and practical). I’ve experimented with lots of different brands, products, fake meats and everything in-between and have created the ultimate guide to vegan groceries you can find here in Toronto.

Here are some of the best vegan groceries you can find in Toronto
Beyond Meat Sausages
When I first tried one of these sausages, I almost thought someone had tricked me into eating meat (cue angry vegan). This is hands down the most realistic tasting veggie sausage I have ever had. Pro Tip: go light on the oil in your pan, these boys release a lot of oil themselves.
Where To Find: Most grocery stores in the city (Valumart, Longos, Walmart, Loblaws etc.) Click here to find a store near you!
Impossible Meat Ground
I know I just said this but I literally couldn’t believe this wasn’t meat. I had tried an impossible burger at a local restaurant recently (best vegan burger in the city: Happy Burger’s Impossible burger) and when I tried the ground myself, I fell in love! It’s super versatile and tastes amazinggg.
Where To Find: Sobeys & Longos. Click here to find a store near you!
Earth Island Vegan Parmesan
If you met me, you know I always have at least 3 of these on hand at all times! I can’t live without this stuff. I make a vegan buffalo chicken salad at least 4 times a week and always top it with this vegan parm. It’s salty and tastes as close to the real thing as I can remember!
Where To Find: I have only found this at Loblaws
Zoglo’s Incredible Cutlet
Have you ever made a vegan chicken parmesan at home? Well this is your sign to do it! Zoglo’s Incredible cutlet’s are thin, crispy, wholesome and packed with flavour! If you’re looking for the perfect cutlet, this is the best one on the market.
Where To Find: Most local grocery stores (Metro, No Frills, FreshCo) Click here to find a store near you!
Fried Tofu Balls
This is my go to tofu when I’m making curry or want to add some protein to a meal! The texture is great and you can even eat them “raw” since they’re already fried! You can cook them with some hoisin sauce and pair it with some bok choy or any other vegetables you like.
Where To Find: Any Asian Supermarket
Hellmann’s Vegan Mayo
If you want to build the ultimate plant-based burger or sandwich, you can’t do it without some vegan mayo! My favourite is Hellmann’s in the squeexe bottle. There’s something satisfying about mayo squeexing onto bread, sue me!

Good Goddess Coconut Cloud Yogurt
Honestly this yogurt tastes a little weird at first but it is sooo addicting! You can literally taste the health with every bite, it’s amazing and all natural! Whether you’re adding it to curry, soups or just eating it plain, this yogurt is my favourite plant-based option out there. PS. You support a local small business by eating this stuff!
Where To Find: Good Goddess (Yorkville)
Daiya Creamy Caeser Dressing
I can’t live without this stuff. You can make delicious salads, wraps and sandwiches with that caesar taste we all love. I will stand by this dressing for life!
