Visiting South Beach

What’s a vacation without a little shopping? Lincoln Road Mall is your first stop.
An outdoor mall that runs through South Beach, it’s a fantastic mash of famous boutiques, outdoor cafes and breathtaking bookstores.
And then there’s Ocean Drive, the famous strip lined with everything you can imagine: artsy buildings, souvenirs, and tasty treats border the entire location.
If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxed, try out Sunset Harbour, which offers local franchises adored by Floridians.
You don’t have to be a history buff to appreciate the past chronicles South Beach brings to light.
Stop at the Holocaust Memorial for a sombre look at the horrors of the concentration camps. There, you’ll find haunting tributes to survivors as well as a wall inscribed with the names of lost loved ones.
From there, travel about forty minutes north of South Beach to view an ancient Spanish monastery, which is still used for religious purposes today.
3. Culture and Art
The city of Miami is known for its diverse culture and art. You only have to vacation during Miami Art Week to see what we mean.
Imagine all types of art fairs squeezed together into one bustling location. This week in December hosts one of the most iconic art centers in the world.
But if you’re not lucky enough to vacation in December, there’s plenty more where Miami Art Week came from.
Take a tour of Espanola Way, where history and culture come alive. See the Old World while tasting the delectable Spanish foods. Then go to a show at the New World Center, a concert hall that’s home to the New World Symphony.
4. Family and Sightseeing
Florida isn’t all cities; in fact, South Pointe Park and Miami Beach’s Botanical Garden offer breathtaking scenery adults and children will love.
Aside from this, options for snorkelling, paddle boarding and more are everywhere, but be sure to take the kiddos to the Miami Children’s Museum. It offers interactive and educational goodies that give adults a break from the heat and children the okay to make as much noise as they can.
Food is everywhere on and around South Beach, but we highly recommend hitting up Ocean Drive.
Up for some of the cheesiest pizza you’ve ever had? Go to Lucali’s.
Want some Japanese noodles? Give Pubelly Noodle Bar a go.
Make sure you stop into Sugar Factory for the largest cocktail of your life.
South Beach offers the ideal getaway at affordable prices with the fun everyone desires. Plus you get that dream tan you’ve always wanted.
What’s not to love?
