So Fashion Week is almost upon us and those of you who plan to be involved know that you have a hectic run ahead of you. Whether you’re working behind the scenes or just looking to be seen, your feet will swell from dashing between shows in the world’s most fabulous shoes, your Visa will groan from the purchase of said shoes, and your immune system will be challenged thanks to enclosed spaces and far too much contact with attendees who choose to bypass the air kiss in favour of the sloppy mouth-to-mouth approach – it takes its toll. After a busy day of viewing the latest trends and stalking your favourite designer, all you really want to do is find a comfy bar stool and a stiff martini so you can discuss your future wardrobe with your BFF and tweak your master plan to finally score a seat on the front row. Luckily for you, View the Vibe is here to provide a rundown of our favourite spots to wind down and get a pleasant buzz when the catwalks have closed for the night…

El Caballito
Take your pick of margaritas, beer or just sip on one of 12 choices of tequila to really take the edge off of a hectic day. If you’re in need of some nibbles the small menu offers a mix of Latin snacks for soaking up some of that liquor.

Vertical
Although they are primarily a restaurant serving fresh and local Italian influenced dishes, the bar/lounge is not to be overlooked at this Financial District fave as it is quite the hotspot for after-work drinks. Creative cocktails and delicious bar snacks make this the perfect spot to head to when you’re too wired to go home.

Hey Lucy
Get over Fashion Week’s Hump Day with $5 martinis (Wednesdays only). With over 20 different concoctions to choose from you may want to order a wood-oven pizza to help stave off the Wednesday Wobbles.

Bloke & 4th
So you don’t want the party to stop? If you’re high on couture and ready to conquer the dance floor then you need to head here for some cool supper club action. Sophisticated schmoozing will keep you sailing until seat assignments the next morning… you may want to schedule an early morning coffee call.

Earls
If your day by the runway has left you full of energy and ready to mingle then head to Earls for a guaranteed crowd, high energy and a great selection of wine, cocktails and nibbles (we suggest the dynamite prawn roll!).

If you have the perfect go-to bar for cocktails after the fashion shows, let us know in the comments below or tweet us @ViewTheVibe.
