Outerwear brand Woodpecker looks to bring some colour back into your life with their fall/winter collection. The brand is looking to make a splash with its rainbow of colours in its lineup that will keep you warm and stylish no matter the climate you’re battling.
Colourful Mischief
Woodpecker, which happens to be the brainchild of Will Poho (formerly Moose Knuckles), is making a splash with its assortment of colourful apparel. If you’re really planning on standing out, while keeping warm of course, Woodpecker is currently promoting its new Solid Gold line.
Woodpecker makes it known they are a cruelty-free vegan line of outerwear. Brand founder Will Poho notes, “there are much better alternatives to down and fur. We respect animals and we refuse to use down and fur in our products.”

The jackets are lightweight and breathable with the added perk of being moisture resistant making them prime for those long winter days. Each jacket is made with Sustans fibre so unlike goose down, the jackets don’t lose the ability to keep you warm. Super important considering Canada is cold 10 months out of the year. The fibres also vent excess heat and moisture so you’ll stay dry and comfortable.
“We’re trying to be better in every way”, adds Poho. “I have brought my best design and highest quality materials and trims to these coats. Most importantly we do not use animal products.”
Stars Aligned
The colourful jackets can be seen on a who’s who of musicians, models and even one global soccer icon who happened to be taking in all the sights and sounds of Toronto this past summer.

The list includes Ronaldinho, Unimerce, Boslen, Jeremy Bieber / Bieber family, Briar Nolet, SAINt JHN, Karl Wolf, Diogo Snow, Dusty Locane, Dave East, Fashion Santa and more. So if the stars like it, what can you expect from putting on one of these jackets? “You can expect to get a lot of attention,” says Poho.
