There is no shortage of amazing sushi places in the 6ix and another one is officially open right in the heart of Yorkville!

Kibo Secret Garden, the newest restaurant from Canadian sushi brand Kibo Sushi House, is an intimate and high-end Omakase and sushi house. Guests can expect an elevated and exclusive menu, including the option of a curated Omakase experience paired with Sake.

Some of the most special dishes feature the highest quality of fish, seafood and premium meats and the fish is served within 24 hours of its catch. The menu highlights traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi with a unique twist. Items include the Wagyu Shishito Pepper Roll, which is fresh Australian wagyu with arugula, asparagus and sliced garlic. Kibo classics are also available such as the Aburi Scallop Dragon and Aburi Salmon torched rolls.

The restaurant hosts an Omakase bar where a 15-course lunch Omakase (special price of $60 for October only) is perfect for those who are interested in a timely but elegant dining experience. A 20-course dinner Omakase (special price of $100 for October only) is also available and both menus have the option to add a curated five-course Sake or Wine pairing for $50.

The Chef’s best items on offer that day can also be selected in the form of one of five Omakase Bento Boxes, with options for sushi- or sashimi-focussed menu or a mix of both. There are options for a vegetarian menu as well.

Reservations for Kibo Secret Garden can be made online, by phone or email. The sushi house currently seats up to 20 guests indoors, in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions.
