The demand for Korean style hot dogs has been on the rise in Toronto for quite a while now. The deep fried dish is known to come in a variety of flavours and mixtures and we’re here for it! Now, residents are going to be able to head to another spot to satisfy their cravings for a Korean hot dog. International chain Arirang Hotdog will be opening their first Toronto location in North York this weekend.

Oh, and did we mention they’re giving away free food over the course of this weekend and next week? The restaurant is offering a 1,000 free hot dogs on September 18 and 19, along with 300 hot dogs and 300 croquettes each on September 20 and 21. You might also be able to get your hands on one of their 500 free croquettes on September 22 and 23.

Along with a selection of hot dogs, the menu also serves croquettes. The hot dog comes with different flavour options including potato, twisted bread, cheddar + mozzarella and volcano. You can find unique combos and options when it comes to their croquettes.
Red bean, pizza, kimch, vegetable and spicy chicken are some of the available ones. It is typically called a korokke or goroke in East Asian countries like Korea and Japan.
The prices for the menu items range from $3.99 to $4.99 depending on the chosen filling. You can find Arirang Hotdog at 5 Byng Avenue, North York and they’ll be open from 11 am. If you are yet to try a Korean hot dog, then you’re going to want to check them out.
