Toronto has a lot of amazing restaurants but the city is definitely lacking in the drive-thru department. It really doesn’t make sense for The 6ix to be flooded with drive-thrus like a suburban town but that doesn’t mean people love waiting inside in a long line. Tim Hortons, a beloved Canadian staple, is taking their innovation to the next level with their first pick up window in the city.
Tim Hortons Has a New Pick Up Window in Toronto
There’s nothing like grabbing a coffee in the city but the deed can definitely be tainted when you have to wait in a long line inside (especially on a nice day). Although Tim Hortons is loved all over Canada, and beyond, this new concept from Tims is meant to cater specifically to the urban crowd. From pedestrians to cyclists alike, a pick up window is convenient and efficient.
If you’re picking up a delivery or mobile order, you can forget about waiting in lines inside 419 Bloor Street East’s Timmies. This location is the first in Toronto to test out the new pick up window but it sounds like it will quickly become just what the doctor ordered! The Bloor and Sherbourne Tims location is popular amongst commuters transferring from Sherbourne station and the 75 TTC route.
If you want to try the new pick up window concept out, all you have to do is download the Tims app and place a mobile order! Make sure you choose pick up from 419 Bloor Street East and then head to the window and grab your coffee.
The popular chain is still testing this concept out in the city so show it some love while we have it to encourage the brand to expand pick up windows. Not only is it more convenient for those picking up a mobile order but it will also make the lives of delivery drivers much easier!
