Tenon has two locations across the GTA. The downtown location at 487 Bloor Street W. is quickly becoming a city favourite! Tenon began developing vegetarian Japanese dishes over 10 years ago and now, they strive to serve authentic vegan Japanese cuisine and add Thai fusion vegan dishes to their menu to provide more choices.
“It is our goal to make it easier for people to transition into a vegan diet, which promotes environmental protection as well as our own health. One by one, we can all do our part to help the people, the earth, and the animals! “Tenon
Owner Tony Huang grew up in Asia and has always been interested in Japanese cuisine. Tony knew that it was time to go meatless when him and his wife became the owners of Tenon back in 2011.
Tenon’s large menu offers almost 75 items, so I can guarantee you you’ll find something you’d like! If you’re feeling nervous opening yourself up to this new world of sushi, don’t be! Most of the vegan sushi selections include familiar food items such as sweet yams, cucumbers, avocados, mangos and cashews!
