No matter if you’re a Har Gau or Shu Mai kind of guy (or gal), there is nothing quite like getting your brunch order yelled at you by an adorable Cantonese woman with a cart. If you agree with that statement, you’ll want to get some dim sum at the #YumchaTO event April 13th.
Yum Cha, the literal translation for “drink tea”, is another way of saying the Cantonese mid-morning tradition otherwise known as dim sum. #YumchaTO will be featuring 10 vendors of the Chinatown staple who will be bringing the meal to new heights with innovative and internationally-inspired takes on such classics as dumplings, sticky rice, buns and more!

Held at the Chinese Freemasons Association (436 Dundas Street West on the 3rd floor, near the Spadina intersection), there will be two sessions on April 13th: the first being 11am to 2pm, and then another from 3pm to 6pm. Your $10 ticket will cover entry but no food or drink so be sure to bring some cash! No worries though, most dishes will be priced under $5.
Mouth already watering? Make sure to grab your tickets for #YumchaTO here.
