On Monday September 19th, Yelp.ca kicked off “YELP EATS”, a week-long event raising money and awareness for Toronto’s Hunger Relief non-profit organization, the Daily Bread Food Bank. The event was held at the very beautiful Boehmer Restaurant where tons of foodies and Yelp users got together to eat, drink and donate! Fabulous event and even though we got there a little late to try all the food, it has definitely inspired us to go back for dinner!
Are you a foodie? Do you spends hundreds of dollars on restaurants every week? Why not follow the Yelp lead and eat at one of the five restaurants that will be donating $10 of every $30 spent to the Daily Bread Food Bank. You have 1 week (Sept. 19-25) and the restaurants aren’t too shabby either… Nota Bene, Boehmer, Czehoski, The Corner House and newly opened Volos Estiatorio.
What better way to help support a cause so important and enjoy a delicious meal at the same time!
