The Taste of Danforth is a culinary celebration of all things Greek and happens in Toronto every summer. This year, I decided to give it a go – as a West End girl, I rarely get to the East side… However, I totally enjoyed the super vibrant vibe we encountered. After walking the very busy streets with Stella (www.FoodJunkieChronicles.com), my new foodie bestie, we decided to pop into Pappas Grill for a proper Greek meal. Their huge patio was drowning in sunshine and beckoned us…. After a couple of glasses of wine and a very big Greek meal sitting in our bellies, a gelato craving set it. Lucky for me, my favourite gelato store just opened a 2nd location on the Danforth – DOLCE Gelato. My thought was that it would help with digestion…. 😉
My first time attending this fun filled street Festival, I now know that next year I will make sure NOT to eat anything else before. Food was great but I was full for days….
