3. International Women’s Day at the Broadview Hotel
The Broadview Hotel is hosting a cocktail night and speaker panel event. Guests can enjoy bites catered by the hotel, wine sponsored by Medovino Imports and a cash bar before the panel. The panel, moderated by Samora Smallwood, a Toronto-based actor and co-chair of ACTRA’s Diversity Committee, will feature prominent female business owners and residents from the city’s east end, who will discuss culture, community and female-run businesses.

5. Balance For Better – International Women’s Day Panel and Charity Mixer
The Thompson Hotel and The Ladies Community are hosting a panel discussion with over 100 other women to discuss gender balance in the workplace. Panel includes 10+ female entrepreneurs and business owners from around the city. Finish the night with a social mixer and dancing with boss babe DJ Bianca Lee. 50% of all proceeds directly support sex trafficking in Ontario.
