Here’s what you need to know about the new location of Ballroom Bowl in Toronto:
The original location, which opened back in 2010, is located at 145 John Street. Since its opening, it has gained traction because it has an interactive entertainment hub and a restaurant. One of the entertainment features is also a 10-pin bowling alley.
The original location stands at 23,500 square feet. One of the newest locations, the one in Yorkville, is slated to be smaller at 20,000 square feet. The venue also has plans to expand to Dundas Square, where it will be about 15,000 square feet.

As part of the expansion plans, there will be four Ballroom concepts. This includes Ballroom Social at Yonge and Bloor, Ballroom Bowl, Ballmart, and Ballroom Bowl Mechanical at Yonge and Dundas.
The Ballroom Social location is expected to open later this month. It’s taking over the space that previously used to hold McEwan Fine Foods.
The bowling alley is not only a major entertainment aspect of the destination but there will be a selection of TVs, a games room, live music and more.
The restaurant part of the venue at the John Street location offers a menu of sharables, bowling platters, salads, burgers, and small plates. For beverages, there are cocktails, wines, and beers. Live music, karaoke, and a resident DJ are part of the activities roster as well.
